meet the maker

My name is Siena, and I founded Fox Creek Fringe after developing a passion for bead-weaving in Teton Valley, ID (more explicitly, Fox Creek Canyon, hence the name). I find solace in the slowness of beading, for it allows me to practice patience, mindfulness, and stillness in my day-to-day life. This practice has allowed me to express my creativity, and I am thrilled to be able to share the inner-workings of my mind with you all. My designs are one of a kind, and inspired from the natural world around me. Each bead is stitched with intention, and every piece should feel like it was made especially for you.

I would like to acknowledge that the land on which I create my jewelry is the ancestral and unceded territory of the Shoshone-Bannock and Eastern Shoshone People. I want to honor the practice of indigenous bead-weaving, and call to attention that I am a non-indigenous beadworker. I do not intend to appropriate the sacred practice of beading, but rather celebrate the beauty that lies within it.

Thank you for visiting my page. I hope you found something that made your heart smile today.
